Add to Chrome

Support

Use the Support tab on ClassAdd's Chrome Web Store listing. Include what you expected, what happened, and the activity log lines from your ClassAdd dashboard. Never send your password, cookies, or Duo codes.

Stop ClassAdd

  • Switch Auto off, or pause watching, on the ClassAdd dashboard. Manual mode never contacts WebReg.
  • Remove the extension at chrome://extensions. That also deletes everything it stored on your computer.

Disconnect Gmail

  • Click Disconnect Gmail in ClassAdd.
  • To finish, remove ClassAdd at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Common problems

  • “Sign in to WebReg”: your WebReg session ended. Sign in again at webreg.usc.edu (and choose the term once); ClassAdd carries on.
  • No alerts while the computer sleeps: ClassAdd runs inside Chrome. It can't watch or email while the computer is asleep or Chrome is closed.
  • A checkout failed: the email names the reason. WebReg fails the whole cart if one class can't be registered. Fix the cause (for example a prerequisite or a hold) and ClassAdd can try again later.
  • A class never alerts: ClassAdd skips sections that need D-clearance unless you told it you have it.
